The Bungalow
Architects Gayathri & Namith have worked to make this Bungalow one that will leave a mark in your memory. With long spacious verandas on the house’s perimeter and a sunlit central courtyard, this house is made for families to spend uninterrupted quality time. Two lions welcome you by the main door of the Bungalow. Kerala architecture-inspired courtyard with an idol placed in the middle grabs your attention as you walk in. The home is large and spacious and breathes stories of past celebrations.
The lawns adjoining the villa on its sides come to use as external spaces where guests can spill out during a ceremony inside the villa. With a total floating capacity of 500 – 700 pax, this venue serves perfectly for an average Indian wedding. Each corner of the Bungalow serves as a culturally aesthetic backdrop with antique doorways, pillars, and other artifacts that have been inspired by the Chettinad culture.
The Rooms
The Bungalow is equipped with 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and a fully functional kitchen. All furniture and interiors are thoughtfully handpicked to come together to create the luxurious ambiance of a bygone era. All the rooms and hallways in the villa are large and spacious allowing you to celebrate events indoors as well.
The Orchard
A contemporary and minimalistic venue that is 5000 sq ft large is the second space at Villa Kasu. It gets its name from the serene Chickoo orchard adjacent to the space. More than half, i.e. 3000 sq. ft of this space is enclosed in a structure allowing for weatherproof events in case of rain or harsh sun. It is also partially air-conditioned for comfort. The Orchard is also home to a functional and spacious bar that can be used during the event to serve up some lip-smacking cocktails.
